IN MEMORY

A friend's eye is a good mirror. We should try and see ourselves through the eyes of our friends.

It is always better to be underestimated.

The three greatest gifts of music and song are:
The pleasure it brings the assembly,
The pleasure it gives the listener, and
The pleasure it brings to the maker.

BLESSING

May God in His wisdom and infinite love

Look down on you always from Heaven above

May He send you good fortune, contentment and peace

And may all your blessings forever increase

Stretch out your hand in giving and you will never stretch it out in want.
--Celtic Proverb

Looking is not seeing, listening is not hearing. Look and see. Listen and hear. Then act.

It is easy to be pleasant when life flows by like a song.

But the man worth while is the one who will smile when everything goes dead wrong.

For the test of the heart is trouble, and it always comes with years.

And the smile that is worth the praises of earth is the smile that shines through tears.
